We have a kayak launch onsite that takes you straight to Little Lagoon, and we’re just one stoplight away from the area’s most popular e-bike destination, the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail in Gulf State Park, which offers 28 miles of paved trails spanning six different coastal ecosystems.

Take a Tour!

Get a local’s view of the beautiful coastal Alabama waterways, including canal, lagoon, marsh, and estuary, then cool down with a delicious stop for ice cream. Tours are offered M/W/F at 4 p.m.

FAQs

  • You must be 14 to rent paddleboards and kayaks, and 16 to rent e-bikes. Minors must have parents present to sign for gear.

    Kids are welcome to use the paddleboards and kayaks! We have tandem kayaks available for parents to sit with little rowers.

  • Paddleboards and kayaks are available as half-day or full-day rentals. Bikes are available for 2-hour or 4-hour rentals. Bikes must be returned by 6 p.m. Kayaks and paddleboards can be rented until 6 p.m. and returned after hours.

  • Definitely! Exploring the area by land and on the water is an excellent way to spend a day.

  • All bikes come with a helmet, a phone holder, a cup holder, a bike lock, and a rack to strap a bag on. Kayaks and boards come with paddles and life vests. We also have soft Yeti-style coolers with ice and water available to rent.

  • Bring sunscreen, snacks, and water! There are several shops and restaurants within biking and paddling distance, so come ready to switch between backcountry and cityscapes.

  • If your plans change prior to 48 hours before your reservation, no problem! Your reservation can be rescheduled, subject to availability, or we can issue you a full refund. After that, a 50% refund will be issued up until the close of the business day before the reservation. “Same-day” cancellations and no-shows will be charged for the reservation in full. Reservations made within 48 hours of a scheduled rental are final and the cancellation policy applies. Please note that all cancellations must be by phone and confirmed by an E-Bikes & Boards representative.
